Must the business side of an attorney's practice be audited?

The Law Society does NOT require the business side of an attorney's practice to be audited (As at 11.05.2022). What must be audited are the trust accounts held by the attorney.

However, attorneys that are registered companies also have to consider the requirements of the Companies Act separately. If their PIS requires an audit then the practice must be dealt with just like any other audit.
